Finishing Lead / Workshop Craftsman Position

Duties include: Take the lead in all aspects of the finishing process for cabinets. Stain/Paint projects per specifications. Provide inventory ordering info to the office. Develop custom stain matches and other custom finishes. Keep track of finish techniques and materials for each job (we have a file system for this). Keep equipment maintenance and recommend upgrades or improvements. Be primary finisher but lead and provide training for others helping. Construct handmade custom cabinetry/millwork to specifications. Work with a team to accomplish project goals; needs to enjoy working as a team. Lead a project from beginning to end, sometimes several at a time. Recommend upgrades or improvements to techniques and workflow. Keep workspace clean and organized. Stock items and keep track of details. Operate woodworking machinery. Flexibility and willingness to work with a variety of materials.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
